We’re in Los Angeles, to visit colleges with H.
We’re hanging out at the beach.
And doing all the touristy stuff.
And being silly.
It’s kinda fun, visiting places from my college days. Even though that was ages ago, some spots are still the same.
Tomorrow, USC’s film school.

Hey! My old stomping grounds.
I still remember learning how to change into a bikini on my way from school to the beach — in a convertible — without exposing myself.
College is fun. I hope looking at colleges is equally fun.

Melissa, our life paths have crossed in so many places! I was born in Santa Barbara, and spent lots of childhood times there, visiting relatives. We didn’t get up there on this trip, but I’m itching to get back. It’s such a beautiful place.
What fun! Enjoy doing the touristy thing and revisiting places from your college days from such a different vantage point now.
Colleges! An exciting time. I’m interested to hear what H will choose. Is he planning to major in film? I remember driving around Westwood and seeing people standing by the roadside hawking Star Maps…I said to Mike, “There must be a lot of astronomy buffs around here.” Clueless!
