Cooking is always a good response in challenging t Cooking is always a good response in challenging times. The amount of cooking that happened in this kitchen with three grown kids doing their share was astounding. Tapas cook-off, a new year’s eve Indian feast that we didn’t eat until 11:00pm, black-eyed peas and dirty rice and collards the next day, pizza with two different sourdough crusts and a mess of seasonal toppings. And more.

And this guy, kitchen god, blessing it all.

Thinking of you and your boys, tara, today, always. #forfinnyboy #lightbecausedark
