I’m updating photos to my flickr page each day, if you want to come along!

I looked at the photos on the flickr page… Wow! I was baffled, had to browse till the last photo to find out where you were… because the 1st looked Belgium, the others, from the glass tower, looked some suburb in Southern Europe… Enjoy!!!!
Marta from Lisbon, Portugal
I suppose it was the photos I chose. Because from the ground it definitely looked like China!
Thanks, Marta!
I gasped when I got to the photos! I don’t remember you even hinting on this blog that you were going on such a big trip. Have fun!
I didn’t write about it on the blog ahead of time–it never seems like a good idea to point out publicly that you’ll be traveling, you know?
Mostly, it was an opportunity to visit friends who are living in Shanghai and Beijing. We’re home now, and it was a fantastic trip! Thanks for the good wishes!
I suppose it does make sense not to trumpet about a big trip online. It’s easy to forget this isn’t just a cozy little conversation among you and your readers!
Loved your flickr photos! Can’t wait to hear more about China and read some posts about it too. Welcome back to the good ol’ U.S.A.
Thanks, Kristin! I’ve got a new post up about the trip.
This is a trip that I would love to take with my family. My boys love Chinese fables and food. I’m sure your son was fascinated. I hope you’ll tell us about some things you learned on your trip. Thanks for sharing. It’s always nice to enjoy your blog while having some morning coffee!
Yes, we all had a fabulous time. I have a new post up with more details.
I hope you and yours get to China one day!
